Day 3-Hanging Out With Friends, More Fun For (Almost) Free!

After a long boring night shift and a little sleep, I took a friend and her daughters kayaking for the first time.  I love my boats and will jump at the chance to share them with anyone that wants to get out on the water with me.  I got the girls all set up in their boats and pushed them out to sea while I tried to balance my boat and get myself in.  My foot got stuck in the mud, I lost my balance, tipped over and before I knew it my self inflating life vest blew up with a bang!  It was loud, sounded like a gunshot, and that thing wrapped around my neck like a python.  I looked over to my friend, Kate, and she was doubled over in laughter and said she didn't care what else happened today, watching me fall in the water and the vest explode totally made her day!  We had a great time checking out the ducks and relaxing in the sun, and it only cost $5.00 for the park pass, and maybe a new CO2 cartridge for my vest.  Happy Day!

Grand total of things bought today:  5 dollar park pass...totally worth it!
